19 of the Russian's twenty-one titles have been won on hardcourt
A comeback the Russian player won his first trophy for nearly 30 months with a win over opponent Moutet in the competition championship match.
The athlete, a ex- world number one, has had a difficult season, managing just one match at the Grand Slams and experiencing a meltdown at the US Open.
Medvedev's inconsistency on the tennis tour - and difficulties with his serve in particular - caused him exiting of the world's top 10 and ultimately parting ways with long-time coach his previous coach.
Now collaborating with his coach and Goetzke, he has steadily advanced in the recent weeks - climaxing in a closely contested three-set triumph over opponent Corentin Moutet.
It is Medvedev's maiden championship since the Italian tournament and maiden on a hard court from that period of the previous year.
Victory also signifies Medvedev has achieved 21 championships at twenty-one various events.
"It's the first time I am participating in a event with my children simultaneously, so to win a championship is particularly special," stated world number 14 Daniil Medvedev.
"This championship is in tribute of my child Victoria, because the initial championship I got when my first daughter my daughter was born was for her."
Medvedev, the past champion, had lost his past six championship matches, featuring in Halle earlier this year.
His defensive play style and regular outbursts on the tennis court had led some to doubt if his capacity to play at the elite level was over.
But the player has implemented adjustments in recent weeks, striving to advance forward and compete aggressively, backed up by an enhanced service.
He came back from a break down in the initial set against the challenging Frenchman, securing 4 of the final five points to go ahead.
Both players exchanged breaks in the second set before the Frenchman, attempting for his initial tour victory, seized the initiative to create a final set.
The opponent saved 4 initial opportunities in a competitive third set before the champion won the break to that score to serve for the match.
Suitably, he secured victory with a point at the net, with Moutet unable to handle a return after two hours and 38 minutes.
